Why Choose Us?
The School District of Osceola County is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment where every student can succeed. Serving one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities, we offer strong academic programs, innovative career pathways, and dedicated educators focused on student achievement.
From rigorous classroom instruction to arts, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities, we help students discover their strengths and prepare for college, careers, and life. Our district values collaboration with families and the community, ensuring students are supported every step of the way.
Athletics
Athletics plays an important part in the life of Student Athletes.
Young people learn a great deal from participation in interscholastic athletics. Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and how to win and lose gracefully are integral parts of our athletic programs.
Athletic participation also plays an important part in helping students develop a healthy self-concept as well as a healthy body. Athletic competition also improves school spirit and helps students develop pride in their school.

SDOC Arts
We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore, create, and thrive through the arts. Whether through music, dance, theatre, or visual art, our programs cultivate creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence—skills that empower students to succeed both in school and in life.
Rooted in academic excellence and equity, our mission is to ensure all students have access to meaningful, high-quality arts education. The arts not only enrich the soul—they ignite curiosity, build resilience, and unlock student potential. We are proud to support over 75,000 K–12 students across our schools as they discover their voices and shape the future through artistic expression.
Career Pathways Programs
The Career Pathways Program is a collaborative effort between Valencia College, Orange County Public Schools, and the School District of Osceola County, Florida. The result is a structured curriculum designed to prepare students for high-tech and high-demand occupations. All Career Pathways programs have post-secondary articulations agreements that specify either college credits or performance standards that may be awarded upon successful completion of the high school program of study.
CTE provides students with technical training to prepare for a successful career. The structured training each student receives gives him or her the tools needed to be successful in a job after high school and/or further his or her postsecondary education, whether technical school, two-year college, or four-year college. Each student is encouraged to explore various areas of study to develop the essential skills to feel competent in entering today's competitive job market.
